Bruce Cunningham Laboratory Manager QA/QC Manager B.A. Biology |
Bruce has over 25 years of experience in the environmental laboratory industry. He co-founded Veritas Laboratories in October, 2004, and is responsible for the day-to-day laboratory operations, data reporting, sales and marketing activities, and accounting functions. Bruce can also perform soil sample preparation and operate a GC for TPH (8015M analysis). He assists clients with defining analytical objectives for permitting requirements and regulatory compliance. These requirements and compliance include those for wastewater, hazardous waste, storm water, and drinking water. He also oversees and participates in the company’s Project Management and Customer Service Functions, while assisting clients with project planning, status, and final data preparation |
Stan Van Wagenen Technical Director QA/QC Manager M.S. Toxicology B.S. Chemistry |
In addition to being co-owner, Stan serves as consultant to Veritas Laboratories as Technical Director and QA/QC Manager. Stan is currently employed by a local water purvayor. Stan received his M.S. in Toxicology from the University of Arizona in 1986 and his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Arizona. He spent six years as the laboratory supervisor of the environmental lab at the Nevada Test Site operating by REECo. There he gained experience in GC/MS, HPLC, IC, GC, radiochemistry and wet chemistry techniques. He joined Nevada Environmental Laboratories (NEL) in 1992 and spent 10 years as the Laboratory Director. Stan possesses extensive knowledge in GC, GC/MS, IC and wet chemistry techniques as well as state and federal regulations. |

Steve McHenry Organics Analyst B.A. Chemistry |
Steve is responsible for the production of day-to-day volatile organics (GC/MS) analytical data and organics (GC) data to Veritas Laboratories QA/QC standards. He also assists with wet chemistry techniques, corrects out of control situations, and submits a complete data package for quality review before reporting to the client. Steve received his American Chemical Certified B.A. from Thiel College in 2005. Prior to Veritas Laboratories, he spent 2 years working for the Quality Assurance Technical Support division of Shaw Environmental Inc. in Las Vegas, NV. While there, he performed data and on-site audits of organics, inorganics, and asbestos. Since joining Veritas in November of 2008, he runs the GC and GC/MS instruments and performs analysis and reporting of data in the organics department. |

Rosaleen Adamson Inorganics Analyst Metals Analyst |
Rosaleen is responsible for both aqueous and soil metals analytical data by ICP which includes sample preparation. She has wet bench responsibilities including pH, turbidity, conductivity, TDS, and Alkalinity. She began her environmental experience 20 years ago at US Ecology, a hazardous waste facility in Beatty, NV. She developed treatment studies for waste, ran daily TCLPs, and analyzed metals by AA and ICP. Later, Rosaleen worked for NEL and Silver State Labs in Las Vegas, NV as a wet bench chemist running an IC, Total Phosphorous, TKN, NH3, Fl, MBAS, O&G, Ph, conductivity, TDS, TSS, and TS. |

Jeanne Lloyd Sample Receiving Customer Service Representative |
Jeanne oversees all aspects of the Sample Receiving Department including client interaction, chain of custody management, bottle orders, and logging and tracking samples through the laboratory. In addition, she generates reports for review and signatures by the laboratory manager and/or other authorized signatories. Jeanne spent 17 years in customer service at the front desk of the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino before joining Veritas in 2006. |

Kim Cunningham Sample Receiving Customer Service Representative |
Kim manages all areas of the Sample Receiving Department including sample reception, logging, tracking, and the completion of chain of custody forms. She also completes bottle set requests upon client request and generates reports for review and signatures by the laboratory manager and/or other authorized signatures. Kim previously spent five years working for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas holding various staff support positions. Kim was also previously employed as a Leisure Reservation Agent at prominent Las Vegas hotel properties for ten years. |

Julie Van Wagenen Media Director Customer Relations B.S. Business Administration |
Julie designed and now manages all areas of online marketing including Veritas' website, social media sites, and newsletter announcements to clientele. In addition, she develops customer relations via on-site visits and pickups, and manages the Sample Receiving Department (see description above). Julie received her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing Management in 2010 from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California where she gained hands-on experience managing and marketing events. |

Jacki Stone Chemist B.S. Chemistry |
Jacki is responsible for assisting with both aqueous and soil analytical data generation by ICP, which includes sample preparation. She has wet bench responsibilities including pH, turbidity, conductivity, TDS, and Alkalinity. Jacki received her ACS certified B.S. from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2009. Prior to Veritas Labs, she worked for Ana-lab Corp. in Kilgore, Texas as a log-in and extraction technician where she performed internal QC and method development for the organic department. After leaving Ana-lab, she spent 15 months in Ramstein, Germany as a math and science substitute teacher at Ramstein Air Force Base. |
